Welcome to my blog! My name is Brandee and I am glad you stopped by
to say hi. I am a true southern girl who grew up in Tennessee all of my
life. Although from a big city, my husband and I now live in a small
town that
will always be famous, at least in my mind, for having a sign that
said, "chicken manure for sale."
I am a self-proclaimed nerd and love
to read and study. I loved every minute of the Biology I studied in
college, which has now taken a back seat to my true passion of studying
God's Word and sharing that with others.
I am a woman who is madly
in love with her Savior Jesus! My life radically changed when He
stepped out of heaven and reached down and touched my broken life with
His love, mercy and healing power. He turned this captive and broken,
people-pleasing perfectionist into a women whose heart beats His freedom
and wholeness.

I have been married to my amazing husband John for
fifteen years. After being introduced to him by my mom at the age of
19 I fell head over heels for him and have been ever since. Through the
ups and downs of life we have grown to love each other more through them and become stronger people because of them.

My
life has been blessed with the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom to
this amazing little boy. The joy he brings my life is beyond words.
He loves playing with his dog and video games and wants to be an
Entomologist (a bug scientist) or Vet when he grows up. His smile will
melt your heart and his sense of humor he gets from his
dad will make you laugh until your stomach hurts. He is one of God's greatest blessings and I pray that he will always seek Him with all his heart.
My
deepest passion is for women to find freedom in Jesus Christ through His Word.
The pages of scripture have the power to change our hearts and lives
from the inside out when we allow Him to speak to us through it. Only
He can offer the unconditional love all of us seek but that can only be found in a relationship with Him.
My
prayer is that God uses my story and my life to lead other women to His
heart and to serve Him in whatever way He has planned!
